Moonstone: I believe that quote is an accurate representation of this show. We don’t talk about anything. This show might be offensive so take that into account when listening. I know the people that came over to us from Fightbait’s show will love this, but not too sure how some of our originals will react. Who’m I kidding, we don’t have any listeners, that said, I hate all of you for not sending in lesson 50 stuff!

Usagimaru: I finally got a chance to listen to this. Dear god I’m like a full second off time. Oh well. Pretend like I said everything a second before you hear me, and I’ll sound a lot less retarded.

EDIT: I had to edit this so much to make it even remotely listenable, and there’s still an echo from Fightbait’s end that was really difficult to sync up. ~~I’m fixing it now so hang on a sec kthx.~~ Kfix’d.

Usagimaru: I don’t feel like typing stuff I said in the podcast here right now. Maybe I will later…but I probably won’t.
This was my attempt to do a solo show. I talk pretty fast, but hopefully it won’t be too bad. I usually have that problem. Probably because I’m used to trying to talk really fast so I get my opinion in while Moonstone and The Over Reaper are yelling over one another.

I basically give a review of Prototype in it, but really I don’t talk about much. Just a couple things that annoy me.

Moonstone: So we went to this Asian Festival today and everything was overpriced, an X-Japan cover band only played stupid pop songs without a lead guitarist, and I didn’t have my wallet so I couldn’t buy a Vaizard mask. What did we do? We thought we would provide material to our listening demographic by finding a terrible show in the bootleg booth and getting something based on the cover. I proposed Battle Royal but Usagimaru sucks at life. Hence: we grabbed Fuuma no Kojirou: The TV Series. Now like I said, we purchased this entirely on the cover’s contents. We glanced at it, and let out a collective: “Hell yes.” We watched it. We’re crazy; because it wasn’t that bad. Expect a review for every episode, because this show is an uncovered gem.

Usagimaru: Oh oh! And by the way June is the new May, so expect episode 50, our Gurren Lagannaversery to be put out sometime then. Also I have no idea why, but this show appeals to me much more than it should have. Why are we crazy, and why did I end up actually liking this show?

This show is all about CUTTIN’ BEES.

Just a sidenote as to why this is on here: themented.com was intended to be a multipurpose site for my friends to use to host whatever, and while it started off predominantly AniMentors-based, it does not mean that we can’t have other things on here. I’ll be hosting the BustGunner episodes on here, for example. And for the time being, hosting the Sora Cast : Not a Girl’s Name Podcast. That said, this show is fantastic, and you all should check it out if you like us. The next one is coming out very shortly, as is lesson 49 and the “long awaited(?)” 50. Get ready guys. EDIT: Holy HELL Usagimaru sucks at editing. Samurai Beat is ridiculously loud and STILL PLAYING during Fightbait’s promo. Wow, I’m sorry. Good thing we played another promo so you could HEAR IT. He’s never editing again >=/

EDIT2: Ok, so I suck at editing. Mostly because I did it on my laptop and didn’t listen to enough of it. It’s probably already up by the time you’re reading this. The only changes were to the beginning, so if you’ve already downloaded it and are listening, don’t bother redownloading if you don’t want to. Butif you haven’t listened yet, please redownload for the better version.

Moonstone: First thing’s first: this is NOT lesson 50. We’re retarded, but what do you expect? This isn’t the first time we’ve done this, nor do we care. So maybe lesson 50 will be the epic Gurrenversary, celebrating May 20th, the day lesson 5 came out and we all learned a lesson that day: like 23, phalluses are everywhere.

Also, I finished watching Hatsukoi Limited 4, and oh ma God, it’s becoming Ichigo 100% all over again with the level of depression it instills into me. Anyways, onto positive things! We played three (lol) promos, and you are all required to check these sites out: Fightbait Anime and Gaming and Lather’s Blather. Seriously, they both need more listeners than they have. Screw us, listen to them (now that’s being humble =P)!

This show is a response to a “challange” bestowed upon us by Sibnova. So far he hasn’t done it yet, but we still aren’t out of the race. I think the unofficial date is this weekend. Or something. Whatever. Speaking of challenges, we still have our forum contest going on, and one more member can fill out the spots. So far we have zeo41 and Soulstrider that signed up and here’s hopin’ we can all have fun. The prize for this contest will be revealed later, but I’m sure you all will enjoy it (AKA, we haven’t thought of anything).

Wow this is a long post, in summation (I didn’t think that was a word for the longest time (I should stop doing these parenthetical statements (Nah))): we answer our first FAN-MAIL(!!) from Sibnova and tell him why he missed the boat on Idiocracy, then talk about some Welcome to the NHK and why it’s TERRIBLE >=/

Usagimaru: Wow there’s really nothing else for me to say. Maybe I should start doing some of the posts, so Moon doesn’t get a chance to say everything before I even start. Anyway Idiocracy is awesome and Welcome to the NHK is not so good.
