There was some burning of wheels going on that prevented us from recording for the past two weeks, and I've been rather overloaded with work, high school, and college classes all in the same day. I really needed the time off, and I hope this makes up for it. Let me point out that you need to read this series before you listen all the way through. For those that haven't, there's still a show until about 40 minutes when we hit the spoiler mark. For those that have read this, and you will need to to understand it, there's an hour and a half discussion about it. This series has had the largest impact on my life to date. Please don't just brush it off as a harem, because that's not what it's about at ALL. It's about the superficiality of high school, and in essence, satirizes the harem genre in one fell swoop. I hope you all read this before you continue, because this was such a cathartic exercise talking about this. Reading the series as an emotionally troubled high school freshman, wow. I was depressed for about two years until I got over it, and I still get chills and cry at some of these scenes. Seriously people, please read it. I cannot recommend this enough. It's coming out currently by VIZ, and I've been buying all of them since. I've read the entirety of it at least three times, and I can't get enough. Usagimaru: So most podcasts do a 'watch this for these reasons' show, then later on they'll do a 'review' show for a series. Well fuck that! We basically have two shows for you, with the length of almost 3. There's a reason why we the review part was more than an hour long; the story isthat deep. Also, one point that I forgot to flesh out clearly was that when you're reading some manga/watching a show you can tell that the writer/artist is just making shit up as they go. In this series, I can say with 100% certainty that they had everything planned out since the beginning, and added some fluff to please stupid fan boys. I suppose I should mention what "it" is. Yea, I'm a Christian; but this camp has little to nothing to do with Christianity most of the time. The schedule usually goes something like : Breakfast, Morning thing, Sports, Lunch, Muddy stuff, Free Time, Dinner, Service, Late Night thing. Still lotsa fun though, and a great time was had by all. On the note of the podcast, we started up theme weeks! The first show in this batch is our gaming show containing my review of Endless Ocean and Elk's review of River King: Mystic Valley and Ecco the Dolphin. Lolz aplenty and we're going for shows like this from now on, since finding things we've both played/seen extensively has proven difficult. We're willing to commission, hold a contest, whatever, for a new logo for the site. Something simple that could easily be put on T-shirts and depict our style to the masses. Onto the episode itself, I have to warn you guys, we were trying SO hard to get this episode done in time, and it wasn't until 4:23 that we started.
