What I love about strings is the versatility of the notes. There really are no borders, much like a human voice. Scales are a lot more free-flowing than in instruments with keys or valves. Oh, man, I couldn’t list a favorite band, or even a favorite genre for that matter. There are so many wonderful and talented people in every category, so it might change every week to every month for me.
