Usagimaru: Well here’s something that I didn’t really think I was going to be doing any time. I noticed the problem that we end up having, which is that one/both of us will end up worn out when we’re both open and we’ll be too busy to record on any day that we’re not tired. Well this ends up with us skipping a week of episodes or having empty promises of doing like 3 in one week. So we’ll be suplementing the regular AniMentors episodes with solo shows over stuff that the other host probably doesn’t care about. For example, I’m a big tech geek, so I’ll talk about some new thing that’s been announce, because Moon probably doesn’t have anything to say about it or just plain doesn’t care.So for the first one, I decided to talk about some operating systems in the beginning and moved on to hard drives. I don’t know, I feel like I just gave a simple overview and tried to a little bit about how it’s connected and what’s inside of it. Moonstone: If I’ve never mentioned before, this show is meant for ages 18+. Yea, we have the explicit tag, and we use it when necessary. I should also point out that this is by far our longest show. I don’t think we’ll ever push this length again except for a crazy extravaganza, but eh, I have to say it was worth it. This is probably one of the most lul-packed ones we’ve done. Even if you have no interest in the topic it’s still funny. Trust me. It’s like a colossus that you have to overcome; but imagine it’s made of candy. Yea.

Usagimaru: Sorry for the delayed editing. While I was awake when the podcast went up, I had just finished Ichigo 100%. For anyone who doesn’t realize what that means, then let’s just say I wasn’t in the kind of condition to be writing anything. Anyway, METAL soothes the soul. Just start listening to the fastest upbeat song you have, and there’s no possible way for you to be depressed.

We have a first time guest joining us by the name of: Dr. Ovareaper Binoctopus. I’ve known him for a good majority of my time on Earth, and it was overdue for a show with him on. I think he adds a “flair” that compliments us rather well. He’ll be joining us for the upcoming anime show as well, so definitely check it out!

Without further ado, this trinity of win has conglomerated past many breaks and tangents to discuss our time at the Iron Maiden and Trivium concerts.

Oh God I wanna be back there.. ;_;

Moonstone:  See I really tried to line up this crazy diagnol thing for the show. I DEFINITELY THOUGHT THAT FAR AHEAD. YEP. I think Tuesday/Thursday will become the recording days; but you know us. We never stick to schedules. So take this with two pounds of salt.

Usagimaru: I wish we had a chance to do more shows, because I think we spent a lot of time going through news. But, we’re going to try to have a real release schedule now. Isn’t it terrible that it’s taken this long? Anyway, mod month(s) is coming to an end…maybe…I’m not really sure if we’re going to do the iPod Touch show or not. Now I’m going to go shit bricks and play Dead Space.

This is the last show in the span of our Modding Month(s) (lol). Hopefully you’ve all enjoyed it and gotten more out of your systems. We’ll probably be reprising this theme for something else later down the line, but that’s for another time. And seriously guys, even if you aren’t interested in modding, it’s still an AniMentors show, and like always, we deliver the lulz.

We conclude the theme period with the blatant advertising of SwapMagic lesson on PS2 Modding.

IT LOOKS KEWL RITE? RITE?!

Multiple Feeds?

Moonstone: I’ve noticed that the listening count for certain episodes fluctuates. The most recent two have rather high numbers. WHY ARE YOU LISTENING TO 23? STOP; however, the past ones are affected by this. I’m also curious about what our real listenership is. I know that for some podcasts we listen to I never post in the forums or e-mail them, but I participate in polls. Why? An easy click and I still help the hosts out. Hopefully that’s the case with some of the other listeners out there, because I know we don’t have 29 people signed up in the forums, and give or take a few that might download the show another time from the site, that’s still a bit more than the fanbase I know.

tl;dr: here’s a poll asking if you want multiple feeds.

Moonstone: First off: sorry for the cataclysmic fail that was 23. Ya know, it was supposed to be something epic and amazing full of puns and references to the gripping drama that is 23. Yea, didn’t happen. Oh well, it killed a half an hour, got some lulz, rite? I personally loved the last few minutes.

Usagimaru: Alright, I’ll admit it! I really know nothing about the Japanese language other than a couple words and that you don’t pronounce the ’sue’ in kirisute for whatever reason. But beyond that, I think this episode turned out pretty good; incomparably so to 23 too. It can only get better from here on out. (We hope)

We try to remedy that with this week, since we have no school, we’ll be pumping out three shows. I have my party coming up on Friday. Maybe an insane recording then. Might just turn into another 23, though.

WRYgardless, we talk about some new stuff we’ve been watching, and cover the big news (for us at least) that Toonami has officially ended. Albeit a tad late, it’s deserving of its own show. Hence: we reminisce about the rise and fall of our childhood: Toonami.

Stay Gold.. Bang.
